Solid-State NMR: Bruker Avance 400 (9.4 T) wide-bore spectrometer, dedicated to solids; Bruker Avance 500 (11.7 T) narrow-bore spectrometer - a liquid-state machine upgraded with high-power amplifiers, MAS unit, etc, allowing solids work; main probes: MAS 2.5, 4 and 7 mm (up to 35 kHz spinning rates); 4 mm HR MAS, CRAMPS, static. In 1 year time both spectrometers will be equipped with a third X channel and triple-resonance probes. We are also getting a LC-NMR facility. |

300 kV TEM Hitachi H9000-NA with 1.4 A resolution equipped with EDS (energy dispersive spectroscopy) system from Roentec, PEELS paralel electron energy loss spectrometry from GATAN, TV rate camera and low temperature (liq He) TEM sample stage. During 2005 will be installed a new 200kV TEM with Schottky emission gun (FEG) emission and STEM mode, equipped with EDS system. |
